Toni Davis, MA, LPC-S, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ (she/her)
Toni Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™ with over ten years experience in working in different settings with clients including children (age 3 and up), teens, adults, and families. She specializes in approaching counseling using a Gestalt Therapy lens, engaging the model of play therapy and creative interventions to aid with various concerns, including body image, self-esteem, identity, anxiety, anger, impulsivity, inattention, boundaries, sensory issues, and coping with significant life events. Within her work with body image, Toni utilizes the principles of Health At Every Size©, including the compassionate care, bodily autonomy, and support of the liberation of all peoples.
Her passion lies with therapy that includes the body since it is the only thing that stays with us everywhere we go… and a lot of times, we aren’t completely comfortable in it – which can create chaos like anxiety, anger, identity and esteem issues, trouble with boundaries, and difficulty just being focused every day, leading to the need for help to cope with chaos.
Through lived experience and professional development, she has built her knowledge to approach the chaos the person experiences with compassion to make changes that bring calm to the person as a whole, mind, body, and soul, with a commitment to provide care that is inclusive and collaborative as she recognizes and advocates for the needs of each client in their journey for growth, change, and healing.
Toni provides supervision and consultation to other counseling professionals. She has provided trainings to mental health professionals and the community to build others knowledge in mental health issues including: body image, play therapy, and parenting supports.
Outside of counseling, Toni loves spending time with her fur baby, Beesly, and other loved ones, as well as trying new foods, traveling, taking walks, and bungee fitness classes.
Toni offers in-person and virtual appointments. Toni accepts Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, ChampVA, Cigna/Evernorth, ComPsych, Magellan, Optum/United/UMR, Tricare insurance plans, as well as offering private pay options.

Noah Tyner, MA, LPC (he/him)
Greetings! Here is some information about me: I graduated with my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 from UMHB. I then started to work at a mental health hospital for children and teens. I have known I have wanted to work with kids, but as I have grown in my career, I found a joy and passion with working in the lives of young people, which has lead to training to attain the credential of Registered Play Therapist™.
In counseling, there are many schools for thought on how therapy should be done. I found several of these approaches and interventions to be extremely helpful, as well as fit with how I philosophically view life. Some of these include Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Existential, Narrative, and Gestalt. These assist me in how I interact with people, as well as how I approach different mental health stressors.
I work with children as young as 4 years old, and adults as old as 101 years old, with focus on concerns with anxiety, grief and loss, behavior issues, and low self-esteem to help build coping skills for the concerns. I aim to offer a safe space that aligns with my philosophy which remains the same regardless of how old someone is laughter, play and accountability allow individuals to create, and live healthy and meaningful lives.
I have many hobbies and activities that I enjoy outside of therapy. These include but are not limited to: Board games such as Catan, Throw throw burrito, Twilight Imperium and Scythe. I watch my favorite shows and movies like Bluey, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Lego Movie and nearly all of the Marvel movies. I also love to play with my dog, Piper, who has all of the energy.
I offer in-person and virtual appointments. I accept Aetna, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna/Evernorth, Oscar, Optum, Quest Behavioral Health, and United Healthcare, as well as offering private pay rates.
I am currently accepting new clients.
Taylor Scruggs, MA, LPC-Associate (she/her)
Supervised by Toni Davis, MA, LPC-S, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™
Taylor completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2024. Taylor previously worked with a program in a hospital setting, connecting patients with volunteers to support them on their medical journey, in addition to experience working with individuals and families seeking support with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Taylor was drawn to the field of counseling through her lived experience with a disability and later being diagnosed with a chronic illness as an adult, which has shaped her compassion for those living with medical trauma and new or ongoing health conditions, developing her passion within her counseling work.
Taylor works with older teens and adults experiencing struggles connected to trauma, grief, and diagnosis of chronic illnesses or disability. Taylor’s approach in counseling is grounded in empathy and collaboration, establishing a nonjudgemental space with respect for each individual’s lived experience. She uses a variety of evidence-based and expressive modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), existential perspectives, and creative interventions to meet clients where they are and to aid clients in reaching their goals.
Outside of the therapy room, Taylor enjoys skiing, horseback riding, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her service dog, Henry.
Taylor offers virtual appointments only. Taylor accepts Aetna & Cigna insurance plans, as well as offering private pay rates.
